Today was not a completely Whole30 day, but it was close enough for me.

Larabar while taking kids to school
Eggs, peppers and onions, and chorizo after grocery shopping
The fake pad Thai for lunch - I threw away about 1/3 of the plate - was full and it wasn’t as good as last time
“Calypso chicken with black bean salsa” for dinner - a Dinner Afare meal. I ate mine on top of cabbage.

Down 4lbs. I am 1000% sure it is all water weight but it was still nice to see. ;)


I had cashews for a snack and ate too many. Whoops.


Oct 13

So I forgot to take pictures of everything - whoops!

Breakfast was eggs and coffee.
Lunch was apple gate farms roast beef, fresh pineapple, aioli mustard, and a bell pepper dipped in some dressing made from a recipe in the Well Fed cookbook.
Snack - I was starving and ended up eating a chicken thigh on top of some sautéed cabbage with sunshine sauce
Dinner - sausage and peppers with sauce. I actually had two sausages.

Breakfast: eggs with spinach, coffee
Lunch: “paleo pad Thai”
Snack: an apple ;)
Dinner: pork, cabbage, & tomato sauce


I didn’t take a picture of this, but I finished off a bottle of this Synergy Guava Goodness earlier. It was my first bottle of kombucha ever and I was impressed - it was actually pretty good. Honestly, I thought it was going to be gross. I might drink a bottle or two slowly every week to help add in some good probiotics to my diet…

starting a Whole30

so for the next 30 days, I’m going to try to do a Whole30. Not because I’m all OH YAY PALEO HUMANS WEREN’T MEANT TO EAT GRAINS!!! but because, well, I want a structured program that will force me to completely stop dairy again. And I’m going to use this blog to document what I eat.

I will try to up the photography quality too, because some of those last posts were really bugging me. Even though no one reads this except me. LOL
